The uncertainty surrounding the future of Tottenham's Welsh winger, Gareth Bale, has been put to an end today with the signing of a contract which will keep Bale at White Hart Lane until 2016. This comes at a time with a lot of uncertainty around the North London club, who remain managerless, however the news that they will keep hold of the highly sought after Welshman is sure to please Tottenham fans and players alike.
Tottenham fought off interest from top European clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester City to convince Bale to stay in North London for another 4 years.
